IDIOM: on the horns of a dilemma

  • MEANING: caught between two choices (di = two)
  • EXAMPLE: Stay or go? I'm on the horns of a dilemma.

IDIOM: horn in on something

  • MEANING: intrude where one is not wanted
  • EXAMPLE: Brad kept horning in on my chat with Susie.

  • MEANING: struggle or argue with someone
